DEV SANGHA NATIONAL SCHOOL (DSNS) was established in 1996 under the control and management of Dev Sangha Seva Pratisthan (DSSP), a registered body incorporated in 1992 under the Societies Registration Act.
Dev Sangha Seva Pratisthan, a sister organization of Dev Sangha was envisioned and formed by Shrimat Acharya Saumyendra Nath Brahmachary Ji (1946-2012), an Engineer and Gold Medalist from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (batch of 1968). Inspired by his enlightened Master Shrimad Narendra Nath Brahmachary Ji - self realized seer at the young age of twenty three he gave up a brilliant management career and devoted himself to the quest for eternal truth, and followed it up with creative institution building for spiritual and material upliftment of youth.
Narendra Nath Brahmachary Ji (1904-1976) had founded Dev Sangha in 1950 in order to bring into fruition the vision of his hallowed Guru Dev, the renowned householder Teacher Saint Brahmarshi Satyadev (1883-1932), disciple to the seer Acharya Bijoy Krishna Chattopadhyay, enlightened follower of Mahatma Tailanga Swami of Varanasi. Himself a middle class householder, while duly discharging his mundane responsibilities to family and society, Shrimat SatyaDev Ji scaled the highest level of spiritual ascent enshrined in the Vedas and the Upanishads which formed the core of the life practices of the realized Rishis of India of ancient times who lived a life in and of the spirit of manifest truth while performing their duties to family and society. He crystallized his search for and realization of Truth into a comprehensive, practicable, simple yet puissant methodology, named "Satya Pratishtha (Foundation of Fundamental Reality), for one's spiritual growth amidst a normal life of familial and societal responsibilities and circumstances, and disseminated it through his own life, the lives of his followers and through his valued publications such as "Satya Pratishtha" and "Sadhan Samar" (The Spiritual Crusade).
